It's been a long while since my last post. I doubt anybody still visits my blog for updates. Oh wells so be it. This is MY personal space, one that I've set public (or perhaps I shouldn't have). Anyways, I've finally reached past the 1 yr mark of NS and I secretly feel happier to know that I have survived half of it so far. I cannot wait for 6 Oct 2010.

I am involved in the upcoming APEC, so I'm gonna be pretty busy and all. Infact the workload has increased tremendously over the past few weeks. Really tired of it.

I always believe I have an unlucky fate. My friends, and colleagues, and relatives can all vouch for that. This unluckyness is perhaps, a paranormal activity else I'm some magnet to such things. I'm really sad that I have to life through all this. Naturally, I'm thankful to be alive, healthy, fed and loved. But sometimes, things just keep going the wrong way to the point where I don't know of things would ever improve.

I don't know if I'm cursed. Perhaps I did some really terrible stuff in my past life. Else, I accidentally offended some spirit who's taken a liking in messing with my life. How else can I explain this suayness? I don't understand.

I don't really believe in superstition (not much), and don't believe in religion. But I'm beginning to try seeking for ways to improve my luck. Perhaps I should do more charity work, help people more and maybe karma will change for the better.

Ever been to www.fmylife.com ? It's a website where people post a message of how fucked up their lives are. Many of them are pretty funny but it wouldn't be if you were him/her.

And this is the story of how my life got fucked.

My dad spotted bites on his hands 4 weeks back. He woke up at 4am to use the toilet one day and realised that there was a blood sucking insect feeding on him. One that was he none too familiar with in the kampong days. A bed bug.

Soon we ransacked our house and discovered that the bed bugs have spread across the bedrooms. We sunned our beds, washed our bedsheets and pillow cases. Vacuumed the beds and bed frames, did a shit load of work.

Through research, I came to know that adult females lay 5 eggs each day which hatches a couple of days later. They like to hide along bed seams and cracks and come to feed between 12am-5am.

Every week, I'm battling bed bugs, and with the fear that I might spread to others. I've found them to be carried on my bag, clothes etc before and I've become abnormally paranoid at any itch or tingling sensation I feel on my body. I am a walking bed bug. I am a carrier. Please stay a radius of 5m away from me when you see me because it hurts to know that I can infect someone.

Because it seems I already have. To the one person who's closest to me and whose family's giving her pressure. Apparently I don't even seem to be able to lend her my support because I'm already in the shit myself so deep in I can hardly breathe.

I'm so sick of this. It's giving me so much emotional and physical stress that it's draining me completely. My weekends have been burnt trying to eliminate the buggers.

You know the sigh that spreads the pain from the heart to the pit of the stomach? It's what I call breathing.

I woke up at 6.30am as usual. Dragged myself out of my bed and brushed my teeth, switched on the radio while I took a shower. Only, today wasn't the usual day.

Over the radio, the deejays were talking about a hot piece of news, that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is no more. WUT?! I didn't believe it, that at the age of 50, MJ suffered a cardiac arrest. I listened in disbelief while the deejays said that the source has not been confirmed.

By 10am, almost every media has confirmed MJ is deceased, hours after Charlie's Angel girl, Farrah Fawcett passed away after a long battle with anal cancer.

Upon coming home, I went to search a song by MJ and I believe this is one of his greatest works yet. For some reason, I feel depressed over the world's loss. When will another king rise up in this modern society. What are the songs that can change the world?

Long live the King of Pop. We shall miss you dearly.

I PASSED MY TP WITH 6 DEMERIT POINTS! I'm overjoyed! I took the day off today and I went for a warm up session in the circuit. It was terrible and I was a pack of nerves. I did many things wrong, I rolled back on the slope > 1m (immediate failure) and I stalled twice. Parking was terrible as well and it was only just the beginning =(

Waiting at the Directional Change course, there was an indian lady who was having her TP, she just completed the directional change and was about to turn out. There was a chinese guy who was also having his TP, and was waiting for his turn at the directional change course, but whilst waiting, his car ate into the next lane, which the indian lady was about to turn into.

Probably afraid that her car might scratch his, she made an early turn and the rear wheel struck the kerb. My instructor say "See la, so sayang, let people sabo". Wah I see already damn cheesed off, that chinese guy better get marked for cutting into her lane. Upon seeing this, he backed up a little bit, but the car was still very close towards the center lane. The indian lady tried turning out again and she struck the kerb for the second time.

My instructor said "You see! Like that fail already. Don't need to go to the main road already fail, let people sabo" I began damn afraid that I met meet these unfortunate scenarios when it was my turn, and I wasn't even performing at my best!

My instructor left me at the waiting room and the TP came one by one. I was probably the third last to leave for the test. The tester asked me to start the car and prepare for the test. I hurriedly went over to the car, started the engine, adjusted the mirrors and seat. The moment he stepped into the car, he said "You may proceed"

HUH! I didn't know what to do. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt yet, should I wait for him or not? Will he mark me for not making him wear the seltbelt? So I just kept waiting, for another 5-10s before I confirmed with him again, "Sir, may I proceed?". "Yes you may" he replied.

I turned out into the circuit and he said "Go to no. 15, directional change." WTF! Wasn't that the station where the indian lady struck the kerb twice? And that was my first station? Chum liao la. And to top it off, I didn't know where no. 15 was! I found it thankfully but the tester told me not to go too fast. I was taken aback, perhaps he might mark me for this.

I did all my stations with ease, rolled back slightly on the slope and over revved. Nearly turned too late for parallel parking. I eventually turned out into the main road and he wore his safetly belt, but by this time, I was confident because I do much better on the main road than the damned circuit.

Did just 1 route and went back to the driving centre. He asked me to follow him to the office and I realised I was amongst the first 3 to return. The guy seated next to me received his results first. The TP handed him a slip of paper and began explaining the demerit points which was given to him. I initially thought that the guy might've failed, but he passed. Not more than 3mins later, my tester asked me to take a seat at a nearby desk. Even before I could sit down, he informed me that I had passed. A wave of sensation struck me and I was overwhelmed with joy as I realised I only had 6 demerit points, far less than what I had expected.

2 points for rolling back <>
4 points for failing to conform safety (vertical parking)

and that's how I passed my driving.

Hi everybody!

I'm officially an adult!! woohoo

So <3 came over with a cake which she went to get it customised. Then we headed to Cineleisure to have lunch at Sakae Teppanyaki followed by Angels and Demons!

The movie was alright, I still preferred the book, and the lack of sleep didn't help either. I kept having to shake myself awake while <3 was on her toes, getting all caught up in the action and mystery. So cute x)

Then we went for dinner! She brought me to this restaurant called La Villa which had a great ambience. The funny thing about this restaurant is that it's nestled in someplace together EMC Institute and Audemars Piguet. But from what <3 said, it was highly recommended by several sources.

We settled indoors even though <3 booked for Al Fresco dining... Alright it was warm, don't blame us! But indoors is fine, because it had great lighting, great service, and best yet! Great company =)

Food was alright, I had the chicken which looked like it is chinese cuisine, even <3 agreed on that. Her steak though, was alright as well. Would recommend this place for a night's drink with the girls/boys night out. It has free parking and I saw a black matted Lamborghini Gallardo.

Attended my cousin's wedding ceremony (post is backdated of course), tried to get some wedding shots but failed terribly. Never knew that Full Framed DSLRs and constant aperture lenses make such a significant difference in taking photos!

This was a great learning curve for me and I had enjoyed myself thoroughly, but I'm still a little disappointed that many of my subjects didn't look at me. Oh well, I'm not the official photog, which is good anyway to take candid shots.

I haven't really been keeping up with technology lately. My desktop is running crazy, and it's really getting on my nerves. Feel like formatting everything away~ squeaky clean

I haven't been able to log into MSN for the past week+ and it's so damn annoying. The error code tells me that it's either the server error, or my firewall or time/date error. But I've no additional firewall, nor have I changed anything date/time/proxy/router config whatever else possible.

The weirdest thing though, is that I cannot enter hotmail website via IE8 but I'm able to via Firefox, it's so infuriating that I'm nearly pulling my hair out of its follicles!

EVER. but this is the first, and the most annoying. And guess what, I don't give a rats ass.

Seriously, he told me that we can celebrate my birthday a week earlier (as a family). Then? Other people don't need celebrate with me? Cheesepie maybe I go plan a partay for mua-self? Don't bother whether I have plans or not, keep saying that we can celebrate early. Celebrating your 21st birthday with family is one thing, and not giving me a damned option is another thing. I should do what I want.

Also, many eventful things have happened. A weirdo has been transferred to my dept and I'm so damn pissed off with him. He's so invasive with his snide remarks and creepy-stalking-thingy that he keeps doing. He likes to stand next to me and peek at what I'm doing, not peek, STARE rather...

I went to The Body Shop sale at Suntec Convention Centre today. The sale is up to 70% off btwn the periods of 11-14 March. Ok so I went there straight after work, the turn-up was imaginable for a first day! Good ducking lord. There was a heap of plastic bag at the entrance and kiasu Singaporeans were carrying plenty of them, dumping in whatever they could get their hands on.

Okay so here is how it went. Basically, there are tables all around the room with their products. You take/grab/push/suck/duck/luck/muck/puck/wuck/ruck and put them into your plastic bags and then you queue up at the counter. Judging from the queue when I was there (6.45pm), the queue needed at least a 30-45mins wait. Not forgetting that swarms of women are at the table of products, forming a wall infront of me. Given my height, I'm not proud to say this, but I do have a good angle of elevation. But I can't mucking see anything! Too many women pushing and shoving each other which turned into an insane grind fest.

The only product I picked, was the face exfoliator which I quickly placed it back and left the room, only to realised that the 15mins that I was in there created a huge queue outside the room. Crazy shit. I wonder what would happen when the two titans clash (IT Show and Body Shop Sale).

Ok I've been busy and tired, so I totally forgot about updating this space. *shrugs* Work has been shitty. Driving's not that great either. But oh heck here are some memorable moments over the past 2 weeks:

We watched Pink Panther 2. Ridiculous show but will get you laughing in no time.

I watched He's Just Not That Into You yesterday and it was brilliant! The actors, the actresses, were all great and the plot was twisting and turning making you go oohh and ahhh, laughing out loud and biting your lip in sadness. I would love to watch it again :)

It's been raining so often lately :( But what comes after the rain could be unexpected. Many people saw this the other day:

Valentine's Day was great! Great company, ~~great food~~, what more could happen to make it a perfect Valentine's Day?

Perhaps maybe a jam along Farrer Rd for about 40mins and extremely poor dinner. But despite the odds, we pulled it off nicely ^_^ hor?

Dinner at Hog's Breath was a dismay, disappointment, and I'm striking it off on my list for one of the places for couples to dine in. I was provided with a shortened menu, with a V-day set dinner and selected Ala Carte dishes. I thought, what the heck, I came here for the steak and prime ribs, and I'm gonna get it no matter what. So why not order the Ala Carte?

*Hails the waiter and asks for steak and prime ribs*
Waiter: Sorry, Ala Carte is only after 9.30pm. We only have the set dinner
Me: Ok...
*orders the set dinner*
Me: Can I change the dessert? I don't mind topping up for it.
Waiter: Sorry, no change.
Me: -_-"

Appetiser came. Asparagus salad. Sorry, make it Warm Asparagus Salad. Then soup came, sorry make that Lukewarm Soup. And carrot cake + ice cream dessert came. Sorry, make that carrot cake + half melted ice cream came.

Seriously, it was ridiculous. If I had known things would've been like this from the start, I would have chosen another place for my date. Thankfully she didn't mind =)

Unfortunately, I didn't have the pictures to post as yet. And the table candles were electric.... lawl........... I rest my case.

However, the night was great though. We exchanged presents and went for a drink. It was certainly a memorable Valentine's Day. I hope we can have many more to come <3

I chanced upon this thread on hardwarezone, about the polytechnic gpa 2008 cut off points for the different courses in the local Universities. I was astonished and disheartened when I saw the figures, and to top it off, it was LAST YEAR's cut off points. This year will probably be fast and furious too.

Happy Oxen Year to all!

So the Lunar New Year has finally arrived and we-the-young-ones are still receiving ang baos in the midst of a financial crisis. Hurray for being youthful.

Don't you always find a pesky/annoying/intrusive/old relative always asking you crappy questions like "Did you grow taller?", "How did you grow so tall?", "Where's your girlfriend?", "Why isn't she with you?". Really, I thought I had already prepared myself for battle with these old foggies, but this year was over the top.

Really fucked up geezers asking me about NS, and the moment I said that I was in the police force, they say "WAH! Slack la!", "Good life sia". And when they realised I was in pes C9, they went "Wah even more slack! How did you geng?", "Eh teach me how you did it, I want to geng for my son also". And then they'd start comparing me with my cousin who's in the army.

Really very cheesed off. But I couldn't be bothered to explain anything to them, but I really wish they'd stop asking. I don't go around telling them they have receding hairlines or having crow's feet grown on their faces. I'm sure in time to come, I'll have to go through the "When will you be getting married" phase. Good lord.

Anyway, on day 2, I went to a distant relative's new place at West Coast Rd, Varsity Park:

The great thing about this condominium is that it's huge! Not the apartment, but the compound. It feels like a really nice place to grow up in and I wonder how I'd afford 600k for a 99 year lease property.

I watched this movie today.. And I really don't know how to describe it in words. I'm still speechless after the movie. It is indeed a moving motion picture which gave off the same vibe as the Into The Wild. Funnily, the climax was in the last 15minutes of the 1hr 30mins movie and I think I held my breath through it all. Great film.

This movie is based on a novel by Irish novelist John Boyne. It is set in WW2 and in the eyes of Bruno, Hilter's son, who met a Jewish boy in a work camp who he befriended.

Haven't been updating recently. Kinda busy and lazy. Kinda anticipating CNY to come, but once that's over, it's a saddddddd saddddddd year. My overstudy will be leaving soon, leaving only myself to man the fort.

Work sucks when you know that you have a paranoid boss who thinks you're out to get him at every opportunity. I don't even know how to live my life like that.

Just went for scaling at the dentist's today. Made my gums bleed abit, which makes me wonder about wisdom teeth extraction. I've been thinking about it recently and watched a video on youtube... it freaked me out big time. Change of plans last night. Went for dinner with <3 before heading to the Marina Barrage for the countdown. Thankfully, there was a shuttle bus service which picks you up from Marina Bay MRT to the Marina Barrage... or so we thought

We found a spot to sit at which overlooks the Singapore Flyer and the city skyscrappers. Good view? Or so we thought.

So the clock struck 12 as we progressed to 2009 and the fireworks were set off..... at the Esplanade.. lol.... I had the impression that the Marina Barrage would have a better view, higher elevation and clearer skies. i guess not. The deafening screams of children were definitely louder than exploding fireworks.. lols..

The fireworks ended pretty soon. I think this year's fireworks kinda budget la, but what to do, financial crisis. So following the couple of hundreds of people, we quickly headed for the shuttle service back to Marina Bay MRT... or so we wished. Not only were we caught in a stupid traffic jam (due to inconsiderate cars parked along the road), the bus driver OVERSHOT the MRT station. Nevermind, he continued to go to god knows where. Everyone on the bus was looking out of the window, we all had the impression that we were supposed to be sent to the MRT station, or was there a mix-up...

The only thing mixed-up was the bus driver, who overshot the MRT station and decided to make a U-turn............... by going over to Suntec City, and get stuck in a different jam. What a retard. It was a chartered SMRT bus, so you can expect over 80 people stranded on a rogue bus, not knowing if we would miss the last train ride home. Honestly, I didn't know what else to say but "HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

Someone decided to press the bell and the busdriver had the sense to open the door, so we quickly scrambled out, and made a mad dash (ok... overly exaggerated) to Cityhall MRT, caught in the swarm of people also trying to head home.

Anyway, I spent a night on <3's couch, having a fitful sleep. But all in all, I can definitely tell others that this was one unforgettable New Year. I hope all of you have an sexciting and unforgettable New Year as we had. =)

Ok so <3 and I went to Marina Square and then to Suntec and Bugis today. Frankly the crowd was unexpected. I'm pretty sure the crowd was much less than yesterday or the day before. Heck I shouldn't even be complaining that no one's out.

We went to Ma Maison for dinner. It's some Jap-Western mix cuisine. It has qutie a soothing ambience but I still felt that the cost didn't justify my palette at all. And also, I just realised just how bad the 3.2mp on my E71 actually is. It's so frickin pixilated.

It's been awhile since I last updated. 9 days to be exact. Life has been normal.. Or however normal it could be in NS. I'm broadening my perspective and I decided to enrol in a financial course. Probably AFP, but I still haven't found out how much it costs yet.

Also, I booked a date for my Final Theory Test... again..... oh so humiliating. I want to make the most out of my 2 years, well not within NS itself, but to use that that to enrich myself. I feel so old now.

Anyway, I just completed this book:

It's a non-fictional book written by John Grogan who tells a tale about the world's worst dog and how he was, to John Grogan, the best dog in the world. The book is really fun, not so much of the dull non-fiction books you'd always find yourself chucking aside, but rather an entertaining and light hearted story that brings a smile to your face as well sadness towards the ending. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it thoroughly and it really teaches you how to treasure your loved ones. Even so much as to a dog.

Christmas is around the corner! Which also brings the year to an end. I sure hope 2009 brings me much hope and joy x)

I passed my exam today. Got to book out on a wed evening which was great. Bus waiting however, wasn't. We saw an ambulance zoom past and we decided to take a cab instead. As we traveled further upwards, we saw that same ambulance at the side of the road, the police were attending to someone covered in a opaque plastic bag with red stains....

So that was the cause of the slow traffic. But what shocked me even more was the motorbike next to the victim and that half his body revealed that he was in uniform, probably near where we were, heading home after duty... And just like that, he would never have to take that same route ever again.

That scene shook me a little as the 4 of us saw our very first corpse in a traffic accident. Life is scary. Please treasure your loved ones always.

29/10: Special special date! Our 19th month monthsary. Was in camp but we had Shokudo on the Sunday night before. Thanks for the Deepavali PH, I managed to spend an extra day with <3

30/10: Happy 83rd week! Didn't had the time to make a scheduled post :( But I'll do it this time around :)

It was a short week thanks to the PH and I'll have a shorter week next week, out on Wed night which is fantastic. Made to clear 2 days of leave, hopefully I won't fail my exam :(

Next week is a one week course before I get posted out! I'll miss HTA though.

Honestly, I can never understand why I can argue with my dad every single weekend. I'm barely home even on weekends and when I reach home I just want to stfu and do my own stuff but he always has to butt in with stupid comments and questions, each time saying that asking me a question got so difficult meh?

I told him truthfully. As if I got nothing better to do during my weekends but to purposefully pick a fight with him. Really, I would rather not. Just leave me alone to do my stuff and I won't even come looking for a fight.

3: Another NSF died

Got MC from SGH because he pulled a hamstring. Went back to camp and died while doing chin up. Another sad case and he got cremated today. I duno how SAF is still not doing anything to regulate these checks even after 3... or isit 4 deaths this year. What have they found after so many investigations? Just normal cardiac arrest?

Frankly they never even state the cause of death. We just know that they died a quick death because it seems they had to be resuscitated within minutes when they collapse or they're gone forever. It seems this NSF is my cousin's platoon mate and he went to the crematorium today.

For the love of the men who have no choice but to serve NS in Singapore, I sincerely hope that MINDEF can come up with a solution, or a change, an addition or an enhancement. Whatever improves the current system, I'll take it, and I'm sure I can say that for all men-to-be who needs to serve NS in SG.

Formula 1: Results

Major upset to Ferrari last night as Massa, taking the lead in the pole standings, drove off too early due to a misfortunate accident at the pit-stop, dragging along the fuel line still firmly attached onto the car. Massa had to stop to wait for his crew mates to get it off of the car and to serve a 10s penalty. Just like this, he dropped from first place to the last place in the race.

Afterwhich, Kimi Raikkonen, 3rd place in the pole standings got knocked off to the 15th position after Piguet's crash. Raikkonen raced back to the 3rd position only to pit once more and dropped off to the 5th position. Then the second upset for Ferrari came as Raikkonen smashed his front wheel onto a wall on the 10th turn, leaving him out of the race.

Lewis Hamilton wasn't on his best performance last night but did extremely well as he caught up to clinch 3rd place. Seriously, what a spectacular F1 race to talk about.

So <3 and I were at Park Mall last night and the soft rumbling of the cars caught our attention. We decided to walk to Suntec to see endless streams of people standing around the covered fences trying to get a glimpse of the cars. The roar of the cars were deafening... Seriously. Especially when 5 of them zoom past after one another.

I'm not too gaga over F1 but standing there hearing the engines rev and the screeching of the brakes made me really excited. So the finals are for tonight!

Yuhong messaged me from camp. He said they got pulled out of his bunk at 3.30am just to watch the sunrise.

He said they run at least 15 rounds everyday. I'm not sure if 1 round = 400m or not, but if that were the case, it would be 6km each day. If they run for 5 days, that's 30km a week, or 42km for 7days.

So I decided to pick up my butt from the bed at 8am in the morning to go for a run. But lo and behold............... IT RAINED!

But I stayed up.. gotta reset that body clock. So I went for a jog, after..... probably 2 years. I think I barely ran 1km before I started becoming really breathless and I brisked walked pretty much the rest of the journey. Boy my physical fitness level now is -100%.

I started having difficulty breathing, due to that thick amount of mucus in my system ever since the cough. So I started becoming breathless AND became light headed. I really need to work harder :(

I was doubtful of Wall-E actually. The trailer didn't really impress me. But I went to catch it at Vivocity in the afternoon and Pixar proved to be the best once again. Amazing movie.

Many guys have successfully completed their BMT right abt nw. Enhanced training batch from July intake and the fat guys like Shawn in the June intake. They're all coming out by next wk.

Then comes the new batch of enlistees, probably by end of next week, the Sept intake shld be over and 13 weeks of tekong shall take place.

then there is the wait for me to enlist on 7 Oct. Damn tt sucks

My brand new imaginary Nokia E51!

Awww... so I didn't get it afterall. My thoughts on it was that if I were to get a brand new phone without contract + additional battery, the total costs would amount to over $400 buckeroos. I'd rather spend money on a cheap phone and to buy a new good camera phone with contract after I POP, which seems more reasonable.

So I opted for that, and went to Far East with YuHong to get gay phones together!

Nokia E61

This is probably teh most glamourous shot you can ever get to see on a Nokia E61, because it has stopped production and is probably a 2 years old phone already. YH and I tried to get the best condition phones at the cheapest price, and it was alright...

Until we realised the original battery from Nokia was going at a whooping $85.00 SGD, which made no fucking sense for a battery in such low demand...

The phone itself is bulky, and not as slick as the Nokia E71, but it's definitely:

1. Loud
2. Clear
3. Not slow
4. Wifi, GPRS and WAP enabled
5. QWERTY keypad
6. 1500mAh battery

Met up with dear YQ and CW today. Farewell my good friends, enjoy life in camp!

Ok i'm a little pissed off actually because i was nearly done with writing my post entry when i clicked on smth n it redirected me. Worst still, there is no "back" button so i can't go back. Just when i thought blogger has that nifty auto save draft, i was wrong! Apparently it doesnt work for blog posts coming from a frickin phone!

anyways, im retyping my entry, trying to make use of more short forms, so pardon me as i use sms text lingo.

i signed on a mobile surf plan with Singtel. Mobile 1000 allows me to surf up to 50gb a mth at a flat rate of $15.69. I thought tt 50gb was considered unlimited surf because i dont think i will be spending tt much data packets on web browsing. Little did i know tt merely visiting my blog alr required 1.5mb. Looks like i gotta have less posts per page n eliminate all images as well as it auto loads

also, this post is coming from my lok kok n73 phone. I've yet to buy my new phone. Using the dictionary funct has enabled me to type pretty quickly, so a qwerty keyboard is not necessary. As much as i wld like to say tt, my arms are bloody aching from holding my phone up. Having a qwerty keyboard wld definitely be a plus! And also because then ur keys wont get abused.

one thing abt blogging from my hp is tt i cannot view the toolbar, which i thought shld be java. I cant change my font styles even though i want to =( or perhaps i cld change the master settings to use the html editor instead. But html is such a bitch. Ok im whining =P

ok play time's over and im off to bed. Probably might get a nokia e51 tmr. Oh goodie. New toy to play with =)

Just came home from supper and a spin. Last night out with my bros before they enlist 1 by 1. Unfortunately for all of us, time will keep moving forward, never looking back, so while we're still young and fresh, it is always good to create memories, good or bad, fun or dull, these shall always be fond memories.

As we drove around town, watching the lights go by, I wish I could have done more in my life. As slow/quickly it may be, 20 years just went by just like that. In years to come, friends will start families of their own and you'll no longer have "friends" left with you, each too busy building their own lives.

So life is short. Live it before it lives you.

4 antibiotics, 1 fever, 1 fever + flu, 2 phelgm

yet i tell them it's ok. because i wanted to keep my promise
and for that, i've been staying home for the past 2 days to recuperate
i wanted to give her my support
when else could i possibly have so much time to spare?
in 5 weeks time, i'll be on a "2 year attachment" with the SPF

Hohoho today was my last day! I've been bumming around in office the entire day because I handed my tasks over ytd. So ya, time was passing really slowly.

I bought a box of Royce chocolates for my dept and then we had some cheesy phototaking session.

I've been looking at phones recently. Wanna get a good WAP enabled phone, which makes think that I should consider getting a QWERTY keypad phone.

1. Nokia e71
Pros: LONG battery life, nice QWERTY keypad, looks slick
Cons: Symbian OS. Oh the horror!

2. HTC Touch Pro
Pros: High processing spd and RAM. Cool 5 rows of keyboard and most of all, gorgeous
Cons: It's very thick, and expensive!

3. Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
Pros: Slide out QWERTY keypad, same quick processing spd as HTC Touch Pro
Cons: Not sold in SG yet, pricey, many complaints

4. Samsung Omnia
Pros: Powerful applications such as 5 M.P camera, quick, huge internal memory
Cons: Pure touch screen, though with QWERTY on screen keyboard, some major complaints such as being unresponsive, buggy etc.

Return of the FUGLY Stinkaporeans 2

Ok the event has ended. I just woke up, muscle aching. Was too tired to blog last night. Last night was almost as terrible and the rain dragged on. Thankfully it lightened a little just before the event officially commenced.

There was one major issue I had last night though. Just before the event commenced, we set up the barricades at the entrances to prevent outsiders from coming in. As I was walking away from the gate, my colleague walkie-d me saying that there's an Indian man with a child who sneaked in without a ticket, so he wanted me to stop him.

So I went to the Indian man, fairly elderly and I kindly asked him to show me his ticket. But he refused and said the tickets were with his wife, who was already within the compounds. So naturally I had to chase him out, because it seemed like a big fat lie. He kept saying that the event started already, how to get his wife to pass him the tickets? So I told him my colleague saw him sneaking past the barricades which got him more aggressive. As he tried to step forward, I side-stepped to stop him.

That's where things got worse....

He threatened to hit me if I didn't get out of the way. I warned him that if he did so, I could call the police, who were stationed all around the compounds. So he dared me to call them which I did, telling them that he entered without a ticket and was creating a nuisance. Just as the policemen were walking towards him, he slowly moved off, though not completely. FUCKER

What happened to your fucking balls? Did they just drop off? Huh? Carrying a baby still act like a big shot, if you genuinely had a ticket you didn't have to react in such a manner. I don't mind waiting for your wife to come down to show me the tickets. But no you had to act like a fucked up adult like every other FUGLY SINGAPOREANS. I got so heated up that even I wanted to punch him in the face. I wish he tried to punch me, then I can react in self defense and own his old wrinkled ass.

Seriously, what fucked up Singaporeans.
