What else can I do?
You seem so uninterested
And everything's about you
When was the last time you called me?
How come you hardly even ask me about my day anymore
It's not that I'm picking on these
But comon, you're getting worse each day

Everyday I call I am enthusiastic
Only to hear your anticlimatic voice and attitude
The first thing you do when you see me is not smile
You pout and sulk
What's that all about? What did I do to deserve this?
Sure you may be tied up with the new transition
But I'm constant
Or do you want me to change
Do you want to change me
Nothing that I do seems to be good enough for you

Why do I feel like you're taking me for granted
Like you're just slipping back into your old ways, as always
Why can't you continue showing that you love me like before
Not some halfhearted on the whim attitude

If you don't bother to understand me, then ask yourself this:
Why are you still with me if you don't care about me
When was the last time we really had a nice conversation
Without you getting sulky
Or isit the time of the month again
I'm tired of trying to smile
I listen to MJ's SMILE and I try to smile even though my heart is aching
You probably thought I was tired
But I was devastated, by your lack of interest
And how long I've let this continue

If you smile
Through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you'll just Smile...
