What a gloomy future

I'm back with updates. Plenty. So read only if you've time to kill.

First off: Incredible Hulk

Incredible Hulk isn't exactly incredible. To give a short description of the story, this movie is different from the previous movie "HULK" which was screened in 2003. HULK was directed by Ang Lee while this one over here is by Louis Leterrier. It is NOT part 2. But unfortunately it did feel like it's part 2 because they jumped straight into the story where Hulk, was already a Hulk. Fight scenes are probably the most exciting parts of the show, because the story is quite plain, along with some dry humor.

Highlight to read spoilers: Tony Starks(Iron Man) comes onto screen nearing the end of the show, saying that he wants to build a team. This can only mean that the director has intention of linking more marvel superheroes into upcoming movies. Damn.

A gloomy future ahead of me. I've been dead pissed off at work, if you've already read my previous entries, you'd probably had known. It sickens me that I, as a barely 3 week-old-temp is getting blamed from top-to-bottom. What I mean is exactly true in the hierarchy system.

Me sends data upwards -> Senior Mgr-> Regional Offices->Rejects the data-> MD finds out and questions Senior Mgr-> Me-> Owned

It's pointing fingers directly at me. I can't help it that I'm providing wrong information, firstly, the information was inaccurate in the first place, and secondly, nobody had told me how to do it correctly. I sought logical poles for me to work my way through and was told to base my work on a sample, which was also wrong. So yes blame me, the ignorant temp who's so unfortunate to get screwed over and is probably deemed incompetent; or in any case, careless, now.

Then during my "pissing-off" moments, it suddenly struck me. Could I reach their position (or surpass them) in future? Afterall, the work I'm doing now is purely based on experience. Nothing has been done out of the box. These are things which are done, and is probably done better in many big firms. So my question is, if variables such as experience, competency and market conditions are held constant, and the only difference is that piece of paper (certificate which you should already know by now), would I be able to reach where they are right now?

It saddens me that I still think that piece of paper makes alot of difference. If not for the position, then the wage that values the position. Recently I read on the papers about graduates being the norm in Singapore. It is a fact. In the past, graduates were clearly separated from the rest, but now it's become so common that it sucks. Having that piece of paper doesn't mean you'd definitely do well now. But not having that piece of paper means you probably can't go far, unless you strike it out on your own. And I regret to only truly understand that now, or maybe last year. Which is kinda late. Why can't we all perish now? The Earth will come to an end someday soon anyway.

And another topic. A hate message to sillyporeans. I was on the bus just yesterday and it was crowded, I was standing. *fastforwards* There's this blind lady who wanted to get off the bus. Her elbow nudged me by accident and she said sorry. I couldn't blame her, and it wasn't a big deal, so I said "It's ok". While trying to get down the steps of the bus, some sillyporean was trying to rush out and banged into her. The blind lady said sorry.

I wish these people can just evaporate. Lessen the Earth's population and lessen global warming and scarcity of food. These people can't even let a blind lady get off the bus. FFS she's BLIND! How much morals must one have to give way to her! Sickens me to live here. Once again, what good is education when morals aren't taught well.

Also, this news is a tad late. I was lazy to post. 1.3billion people vs 1 Sharon Stone

Sharon Stone made a silly comment about the Sichuan Earthquake saying that it's karma. It slapped 1.3billion Chinese across the face and these people probably wanted to give her 1.3billion slaps across her face.

Finally, on a lighter note. It's a friday night. Something that I look forward to for 6 days a week "inclusive of Sunday evenings".
